BGESSA is a student organization
that promotes education about Biological, Environmental and Geological
processes, resources, and conservation practices through information and
services that will be relevant for both science and non-science majors.
The organization has three
objectives:

to increase
awareness for, and understanding of, biological, geological and environmental
issues for members, as well as to provide a fun and exciting atmosphere for
learning about earth sciences

to offer tutoring
for the science courses
á
to provide
hands-on experience through various field trips each semester
